Research Survey – Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Pepper Studio Ltd (the “Promoter”) is running this research survey promotion (the “Promotion”) in partnership with Tripadvisor and VisitBritain (together, the “Research Partners”) to collect insights on travel motivations, influencer preferences, and content engagement.

The Promotion is hosted on www.influencermarketingresearch.com (the “Survey Site”) and promoted via paid advertisements on Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter) (the “Survey Social Pages”).

By completing the survey and entering the Promotion, each participant (“Participant”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all relevant entry instructions.

Eligibility

  • The Promotion is open only to residents of the United States and France who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • The Promotion is not open to residents of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, U.S. territories (including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), or the Canadian province of Quebec.

  • Participants must be English-speaking and have internet access.

  • Each Participant may submit only one entry (based on name, email, and IP address). Multiple entries will be disqualified.

  • Employees, contractors, and agents of the Promoter or Research Partners, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any Participant who, in its reasonable opinion, breaches these Terms.

How to Enter

  • Entry is free; no purchase or payment of any kind is required.

  • Participants must access the survey via the official advertisement link and complete the survey in full via the Survey Site before the closing date.

  • The Promotion opens on 15 November and closes on 30 November, or earlier if the respondent threshold (minimum 100 and maximum 150 qualified entries) is reached.

  • Entries received after the closing date will not be valid.

  • Only entries received through the Survey Site will be accepted. Incomplete, duplicated, or tampered entries will be void.

  • Proof of sending does not constitute proof of entry.

Prize and Winner Selection

  • Prize: One (1) Participant will win a £150 Amazon e-Gift Card (approximate retail value: £150 GBP).

  • Odds of winning: The odds depend on the total number of valid entries received. For example, if 150 eligible entries are received, each Participant has a 1 in 150 chance of winning.

  • Winner selection: The winner will be chosen at random using a verifiable random number generator (random.org). A video record of the draw will be available upon request.

  • Notification: The winner will be notified via the email address provided in their survey submission by 7 December.

  • Response deadline: The winner must respond within seven (7) days of the notification email to confirm acceptance and provide delivery details.

  • If the winner fails to respond within this period, or declines the prize, the Promoter will conduct a new random draw to select an alternative winner using the same process.

  • Prize delivery: The prize will be delivered electronically to the winner’s verified email address within 14 days of confirmation.

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

Taxes and Additional Costs

  • United States: Any applicable federal, state, or local taxes, fees, or charges associated with accepting or using the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

  • France: French residents may be subject to income or prize tax obligations depending on individual circumstances. Any such liabilities are the sole responsibility of the winner.

  • As the prize is an electronic gift card delivered by email, there are no shipping, customs, or delivery costs.

Personal Data and Opt-In

  • Personal information collected through the survey (including name, email, and responses) will be used solely for:

    1. Administration of this Promotion;

    2. Analysis of aggregated survey data for research purposes; and

    3. Contacting the winner.

  • Data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

  • Participants’ data will be stored only for as long as necessary to administer the Promotion and compile anonymised research findings.

  • Participants will be offered a clear opt-in to receive future marketing or research updates from the Promoter or Research Partners; opting in is voluntary and not required for entry.

  • Participants may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting hello@pepperagency.com.

Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, and the Research Partners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from participation in this Promotion, except where caused by negligence.

  • The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), or Amazon. Participants release these platforms from all liability in connection with the Promotion.

General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable.

  • The decision of the Promoter is final and binding.

  • Any entries or comments deemed offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate will result in disqualification.

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  • By entering, Participants acknowledge that the Promotion is administered and governed by a UK company but open only to residents of the United States and France.
